Published:

Changes

NoMA works to ensure that dietary supplements published in FEST/FHIR are of a standard suitable for dose dispensing and/or meet the needs of the specialist health service.

The terms in the products must comply with IDMP standards. Examples of products that meet the requirements for the FEST/FHIR service are standard vitamin and/or mineral products with valid dosage forms.

The following requirements must be met for a dietary supplement to be eligible for assessment for inclusion in NoMA’s database and thus for publication in FEST and FHIR. For further information, please refer to the web pages dietary supplement in FEST and FHIR service.

  • NoMA must be able to identify the substance in official databases in accordance with IDMP.
  • A valid dosage form from one of the four code sets in the Standard Terms/EDQM terminology must be used. Contact DMP if anything is unclear.
  • Valid documentation must exist and be submitted to DMP, in principle not as an image, including:
    • Ingredients and their quantities.
